The Arkansas Council for Military Children is pleased to announce the creation of the Outstanding Military Scholar Award. This new award program, which will launch in 2025, will recognize one graduating senior who is the dependent of a current or former member of the armed forces or reserves.

The board also will tour the Arkansas State University Child Development & Research Center, 504 Robinson St., Jonesboro, AR 72401, at 8:30 a.m. April 11, 2024. The board's Committee on Early Childhood will meet at 1 p.m. April 9, 2024, in the Auditorium at the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, Four Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201.
